Hi, I am Andrew Hong, principal dentist here at Hythe Dental Care.
I was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. My dental degree was completed at The University of the Witwatersrand. in 1988.
After graduation I owned my own private dental practice for 9 years before my wife and I decided to come to the UK for a safer life. I worked in the east of London for 4 years doing NHS dentistry and took the opportunity when it came to purchase a practice in the picturesque town of Hythe.
Away from dentistry I enjoy playing golf, cycling and keeping fit. I also believe in helping in the community we live in and I am an active member of Hythe Rotary Club. I am also a member of the Hythe Chamber of Commerce.

Dental Nurse / Receptionist GDC No. 188431
Hi, Im Antonia. I started my first job as a Dental Nurse in 2007 after I left Folkestone Girls Grammar school. I have a huge wealth of experience in dentistry. I have worked in many specialities including Implantology, periodontics, endodontics and orthodontics, before enjoying surgical dentistry in operating theatres so much that it took me away from my dental career and into operating theatres and eventually adult nursing.
I am now married with two lovely little boys who are 4 and 2 who keep me busy, and am happily working part time back as a dental nurse, and living in the village I grew up in within walking distsnce from Hythe.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, keeping fit and running, hiking, cooking, travelling (mainly to Australia when we can to see family) and I also volunteer as a Leader at my local Beavers group which is great fun.

Outside of dentistry I enjoy amateur dramatics, Classical cars, dancing , languages and still enjoy travelling the world
Hi My name is Emily
I have had experience in many different jobs throughout my working life from special needs teacher to sports therapist.
My initial introduction to dentistry was as a dental nurse where I assisted in a variety of treatments from implants to orthodontic work in private and very busy NHS surgeries.
I love to have contact with the public so on moving to Hythe Dental Care my main role is with our lovely patients as the receptionist.
I have lived in and around Hythe for most of my life so know the area well.
In my spare time I love to hang out with my incredible children and keeping fit by walking and mountain biking in our beautiful countryside. .
Part time nurse/receptionist
My name is Andrea Taylor and I have worked as a Dental Nurse for 11 years. I come from the small market town of Clitheroe in Lancashire. I have traveled extensively around the world, gaining citizenship in Australia and my first dental nursing experience was in Hong Kong. After getting married, my husband and I moved to picturesque Hythe, where we enjoy the beach, Military canal and countryside all on our doorstep. Away from the surgery, my favorite pastime is walking these idyllic areas with my Fox Terrier, Sherlock.
